You may request to close your account in person at any OU Credit Union branch location, by written request, via the Message Center, by Live Chat, or through the Call Center.

If mailing in the request, please be sure to include your signature with your written request for verification.

Funds can typically be disbursed as a cashier's check, wire transfer, or ACH transfer. Cash may be possible if closing the account at an OU Credit Union branch or participating Shared Branch. These methods will depend on the remaining amount of funds on the account as well as other factors.
