Gregory J. Deppong, CPA - 2021

Gregory J. Deppong is the associate vice president and university controller at Michigan State University. As AVP and Controller, Greg supports the financial integrity and stewardship of the university by maintaining financial systems, issuing the annual financial statements, and providing for and monitoring internal controls. He has over 30 years of accounting and financial management experience in public accounting and higher education.

Greg currently serves as Chair of the MSUFCU Board of Directors, having served on the Board since 2008. Prior to his board tenure, he served as Chair of the MSUFCU Supervisory Committee. Greg also serves on the MSUFCU Enterprise Risk Management Committee and on the Board of Managers of Reseda Group, MSUFCU' s wholly owned credit union service organization. A certified public accountant, he earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Michigan State University and a master's degree in public administration from Western Michigan University.
