Meet OU Credit Union's Mortgage Team

Denya has 20 years of real estate and financial experience and enjoys the constant evolution of the financial industry. She serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors, the State Board for the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, and the Greater Lansing Association of REALTORS Finance Committee. She is also a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS.

Denya received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from MSU and her MBA in Management from Northwood University in 2010. Outside of the Credit Union, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and is an avid MSU and Spartan Athletics supporter.

Jason joined OU Credit Union in 2015 as a Branch Manager before joining the Mortgage Management team in 2019. Jason has over 20 years business management experience and four years consumer lending experience. He is committed to delivering a superior experience to members while helping them reach their financial goals and dreams.

Jason received his Masters of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University in 2009. Outside the office, he enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Paula joined OU Credit Union in 1990 and has worked in the Mortgage Department in different roles since 1994. Paula was a Mortgage Loan Officer for 15 years before she moved to a management position in 2011. She also serves on the board for the Lansing area Home Builders Association. She is dedicated to providing superior service to our members and to the mortgage team.

Paula earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and watching movies.

Diane joined MSU Federal Credit Union in 1998, where she began her career in mortgages as a Mortgage Processor. She became hooked on helping members purchase homes and remained in that role for 14 years. She spent the following 5 years as a Mortgage Underwriter before joining the Mortgage Management team. Diane's positive attitude, passion to serve members and drive to lead a team makes her committed to the credit union mission.

Diane earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Away from the office, she enjoys traveling, volunteering at church and school, and spending time with her family.

Kelsey joined MSUFCU in 2019 as a mortgage loan officer in the Oakland area. Kelsey has been in the financial industry for three years now. Prior to MSUFCU she held many customer service related positions in banking and in other industries. She has experience in a variety of roles including teller, personal banking and branch management. Kelsey is passionate about helping members meet their financial goals and making their dream homes a reality!

Kelsey graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelors in social work in 2016. She enjoys spending time with her family and her fur-baby. In her down time, she enjoys camping, hiking and visiting national parks.

Michelle joined OU Credit Union in March 2001 and has worked in the credit union industry for over 25 years. She joined the Credit Union's Mortgages team in 2013 and has 18 years of lending experience. She strives to exceed member expectations by making the mortgage process easy and convenient.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys volunteering in the community, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends

Debbie has been with MSUFCU since 2015, initially serving members by helping them with personal, auto, and home equity loans. She has also worked as a trainer and been involved in all areas of branch operations. Debbie started in the mortgage department in 2019 with her expertise and passion to help members fulfill their financial goals.

In her free time, Debbie enjoys gardening, walking her dog and spending as much time with her niece and nephew.

Suzanne joined Oakland University Credit Union as a mortgage loan officer in 2012. She has been working in the mortgage profession for 15 years. She values helping members throughout the mortgage process to assist them in achieving their financial goals.

Suzanne received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is the 2012 Past President of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys running and spending as much time as possible with her niece and nephew.

M'Lisa has worked for OU Credit Union for sixteen years: fifteen overall in lending and the last seven with the Mortgages Department. M'Lisa is a very positive, knowledgeable, passionate, and enthusiastic woman, helping drive her in assisting members in their life goals of purchasing homes.

Beyond her work with the Credit Union, M'Lisa is also a member of the Women's Council of Realtors-Lansing Charter.

Jordan has been with OU Credit Union since 2011. She joined the Mortgage team in 2021, bringing 10 years of experience with consumer lending and personal banking. Jordan is passionate about helping members meet their financial goals. She provides them with the knowledge needed to consider options and find the best product. Jordan is committed to her members and strives to provide them with the support and education needed throughout the home buying and refinance processes.

Jordan graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Abby has worked at OU Credit Union since 2013 but has over 12 years of lending experience in both the residential and business arenas. Bringing a vast amount of knowledge and expertise to her position, she enjoys helping members achieve their goals of owning homes and saving them money.

Abby received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. She enjoys spending time with her children, volunteering with 4-H, and quilting.

With over eight years of mortgage experience, Scott brings extensive knowledge and valued expertise to his position. His success as a Mortgage Loan Officer is supported by his commitment to provide superior service and willingness to help members achieve their financial dreams.

Scott is a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing.

Laura has been with MSUFCU since 2014 and joined the Mortgage Department in spring 2020. Prior to joining the team Laura worked as a Loan Officer in our Lansing area branches. She specialized in consumer lending and Home Equity loans. With Laura's expansive lending history, she is committed to providing education and support to members while finding the best loan products and services that will accomplish their financial goals.

Laura is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She enjoys travelling, adventures outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Joe has worked for OU Credit Union since 2015 and joined the Mortgage team in 2021. Prior to joining the mortgage team Joe worked as a Loan Officer assisting members with home equity and consumer loans as well as specialty accounts and member services. Joe has over 30 years of experience in working in financial services and education throughout southeastern Michigan. He has a BBA from Davenport University and an MBA from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to spending time with his family, Joe is an avid fine art photographer and enjoys spending time backpacking in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Sisto joined OU Credit Union in May of 2015 as a Financial Services Representative helping members in multiple branches across the Lansing Area working up to a Loan Officer. He moved to Grand Rapids in the summer of 2017 to assist in opening the new Grand Rapids- Monroe Center Branch. He officially joined the Mortgages team representing West Michigan in March of 2021. He brings knowledge and service expected from the branches into your mortgage experience.

Sisto graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University in 2016. In his free time, Sisto enjoys hiking and enjoying nature with his family and his lab named Herman.

Kelly has worked for OU Credit Union since 2005 and joined the Mortgage team in the spring of 2017. With her expansive experience in lending, Kelly is committed to serving members and assisting them throughout the home loan process. She always looks for opportunities to save members money and provide them with a full range of products and loan services that best meet their needs.

Kelly has been a member of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association since 2018.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys serving her community, spending time with her family and camping throughout Northern MI.

Mary Beth has been with MSUFCU since 2015 and joined the Mortgage Team in 2018. She has worked in the Oakland County Branches with experience in member relations, specialty accounts, consumer lending, and Home Equity Loans. Mary Beth enjoys educating members, assisting them in achieving their financial dreams, and providing support and encouragement in meeting their goals.

As a former bank manager and mortgage officer, Mary Beth has experience lending in the Detroit Metropolitan area and enjoys assisting members with home purchases throughout the State of Michigan.

Mary Beth is a graduate of Michigan State University and earned a Masters of Business Degree from Central Michigan University. She enjoys spending time with her family, is an avid sports fan, and attends concerts, visits museums, and volunteers in the community.

Sara joined MSUFCU as a mortgage loan officer in 2019. She has over 6 years of lending experience from a previous financial institution. Sara is dedicated to helping members navigate the home buying process and achieve financial success.

Sara is a graduate of Grand Valley State University. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

James has been with OU Credit Union since June 2016. Prior to OU Credit Union James held many customer service oriented positions in banking, consumer lending, mortgages and financial advising. James enjoys helping members save money with all of our lending products as well as the challenge of assisting members to reach their financial goals. His goal is to help each member to fully understand the variety of mortgage options in order to choose the best loan for their needs.

James is a graduate of Central Michigan University. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys activities that will take him outdoors in his free time.

Andrea has been with MSUFCU since 2000 and has worked in the credit union industry for over 25 years. She has experience in a variety of roles including Department Trainer, Branch Manager and Senior Loan Officer. She is passionate about helping members meet their financial goals and enjoys finding products to simplify and enhance their lives. Her goal is to make the home buying process easy and worry free, while finding additional savings opportunities throughout the process.

Andrea is a graduate of Northwood University and enjoys traveling, volunteering in her community and spending time with her family.

Kara Joined MSUFCU as a mortgage loan officer in 2022. She has over 6 years of lending experience. She has a passion for assisting members in achieving their home buying dreams whether buying a first home, second home, or investment property.

In her spare time Kara enjoys the outdoors, hiking, shopping, and spending time with her son, husband and dogs Rufus, Remi, and Rose.

Al joined MSUFCU in 2015 and has worked in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years. He values the relationships he builds with members and enjoys helping them through the home-buying process. Al is always looking for ways to save members money throughout the loan process.

In his spare time, Al likes to golf, swim, play cards, cook, and discuss baseball and basketball.

Amanda has been with OU Credit Union since 2001 and joined the Mortgage team in the summer of 2021. Prior to joining the mortgage team, Amanda held several lending related positions with experience in management, Consumer Lending and Home Equity loans. With her extensive lending history, Amanda enjoys analyzing each member's situation and working with them to find the best loan product to meet their needs. She is committed to helping members reach their financial goals and achieve their dream of buying a home. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching MSU basketball.

With over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Jamie brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise to her position. She joined OU Credit Union in 2010 and is an employee who strives to always go above and beyond in assisting members. Her passion for helping members, extensive mortgage experience, and long-time commitment to Mid-Michigan help her provide friendly and comprehensive service in brandPlural Mortgages Department.

Jamie is a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS, Lansing Chapter and was their Community Service Award Winner in 2014.
